Contrary to common understanding, the Engineering sector continues to suffer from a skills gap and needs to keep up with rapidly developing technologies. BTEC Engineering is designed to give new entrants to the engineering sector the underpinning knowledge and specific skills needed to meet the needs of modern Mechanical Engineering industries.

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above; including English and/or maths.
  • National data suggests successful students will have achieved an average points score of 4.0 or more.
